This project is a photo diary, a thematic compilation of the historical and industrial heritage of the southern part of Slovakia. Abandoned buildings and businesses provide an insight into the region's past. The Fülek spa was once a popular holiday resort, while the Berva Finomszerelvénygyártó Rt. disappeared in the shadow of economic change and privatisation. The building of the former agricultural cooperative of Fülekkovácsi is a reminder of the communist era. Brick factory in Ajnácskő symbolises the industrial changes after socialism. The publication offers a comprehensive look at the past and the socio-economic changes in the south of Slovakia.
