The DEPIX font was created using an existing font, Slabien. I simplified the Slabien letters into pixels, this is why it got the name DEPIX. I deconstructed it into actual pixels. Then, I used the curves of circles that could fit within a single pixel to round the angular pixels, resulting in an oxymoron as the final product is a pixelated font that is also round.​​​​​​​
